Is this legal?
RenderIO runs yt-dlp in the cloud and fetches content you have permission to access. For password-protected videos, you supply the password — we do not bypass access controls. What you download and what you do with it is your responsibility.
How do I pass a password for protected videos?
Include "password": "yourpassword" in the request body alongside the URL. We handle the authentication on Vimeo's end and return the video.
What about Vimeo Plus, Pro, or Business plans?
The quality tier available depends on what the uploader's plan supports, not ours. We always request the highest tier Vimeo makes available for that video.
Can I download a Vimeo showcase?
Showcases are collections of videos. Pass individual video URLs for now. Batch URL support and showcase ingestion is on the roadmap.
What quality do I get?
